James "Whitey" Bulger on Footage
Reflection
In my opinion, I think that today's teenagers can relate to James Bulger's teenage life. Kids today look towards to one thing when they are out in public and that is pride. Bulger gained his reputations like any other teenage kids, fights, drugs, situations that have to do with moving vehicles. I mean everyone in the world is a criminal, but in Bulger's case, he let others notice his actions by taking it to a more professional level. There are police that would patrol areas like cities, but for Bulger, he is dealing with the FBI. In yesterday's field trip to the Moakley Court, they explained to us that there are certain courts for certain cases. Moakley Court is a Federal Court, which deals with important cases, like state laws. Then there are courts that deals with city laws.
Group's Point-of View
-We decided that, if these criminals were in court, they will be guilty because their criminal actions was way too out of hand. There is no evidence to back themselves up, to prove that they are not. Also these criminals are teens except for James "Whitey" Bulger, but he did start his ways up ever since he was a teenager.
Slide Show
(This is a slide show I made, showing James "Whitey" Bulger and a couple of the men that he work with. Also two FBI agents and two photos of Bulger; there are description in the captions.)
Wordle
(This is a Wordle, that I have created. These words describe my topic of James Bulger, because he is a Federal Fugitive for all of the crime he caused. He is a master mind and mysterious because he is on the run for years now and haven't been caught yet, or ever will be, with a well hidden identity. Bulger is known as a mobster, he is one of the leaders of the Winter Hill Gang, placing him a spot on the FBI's top ten most wanted list of criminals. All of his criminal charges and actions got the Justice Department involved. The criminal situations that Bulger caused had made criminal laws more affective, because over the years laws had been enforced and changed to put more affect on today's society; this is why it is criminalization.)
(This is our group's Pirate Pad. We had a discussion on our fugitives and adding our comments on what we think of the person's criminal. We thought using a Pirate Pad would make it more interesting because of the different perspectives of each person.)
